Stuart Taylor of Liskeard is currently a player in the South West of England U16's Schools Rugby Team. On Sunday he narrowly missed selection this time for the West of England Squad, which is only one below England, but he says he enjoyed the trials. He was one of only two players from Cornwall invited to play. Stuart is also part of the CRFU's Academy for the most promising players in the county and plays for the schools' Cornwall squad. When not on county duty he is full back for the Liskeard/Looe Junior RFC's successful U'16's squad. The only son of Andy and Lorraine Taylor, he is also an all round athlete, excelling at the javelin, having a high national ranking in his age group, and out of the rugby season he enjoys playing cricket for Menheniot alongside his father.
