Rowing- Well supported Boys Club Regatta

Saltash Boys Club regatta on Sunday last was the first Cornwall Rowing Association regatta for five weeks. Polperro regatta which was to be held the previous Sunday was cancelled and re-scheduled for August 7.

Saltash was a well supported regatta with two more 15' skiffs weighed and registered. Looe Rowing Club also made a welcome return for the first time in two years.

Many of the 14 races were closely contested with little to choose between many of the crews. It is apparent that many of the championships are wide open. Only five of the 14 races had the same winners.

Results - Under 16 mixed - 1, Saltash; 2, Mousehole; 3, Calstock.

Ladies Cornish - Mousehole, Mousehole, Saltash.

Under-14 - Saltash, Mousehole, Polperro.

Mens Cornish Randan - Penryn, Saltash, Polperro.

Ladies - Mousehole, Saltash, Penryn.

Under-16 - Calstock, Mousehole, Polperro.

Senior Mixed - Saltash, Penryn, Polperro.

Under-16 Cornish Randan - Saltash, Polperro, Mousehole.

Under-16 Girls Paddles - Laura Jackson (Mousehole), Cherry Pypher (Saltash), Naomi Kent (Saltash).

Under-18 boys - Mousehole, Polperro, Calstock.

Mens Paddles - James Howells (Saltash), Martin Langdon (Polperro), Chris Barrett (Mousehole).

Under-18 girls - Saltash, Mousehole, Calstock.

U-16 boys paddles - Anthony Harrison (Polperro), Ashley Knight (Saltash), Matthew Williams (Mousehole).

Mens - Penryn, Saltash, Mousehole.
