Luckett won this local derby by five wickets after bowling Launceston out for 157. Andy Birkett scored 47 before being second out with the score at 85.

Five other batsmen got into double figures but were not able to push on to a big total to back up Birkett.

John Schuttkacker took three for 22 and other wicket takers were Andy Brenton one for 19, Richard Brown one for 41, Adrian Berry two for 29, Adrian Warne one for 31 and Andrew Hoskin one for nine.

Mike was out soon after and Adrian Warne went after scoring 16, followed by Rich Brown for 15 when the score was 122 for five.

This brought together Adrian Berry (10 no) and Adrian Hoskin (41 no), who knocked off the runs for victory in the 44th over.

Adrian two fours and a six off the last over to give Luckett a five-wickets win and 20 points in their bid to avoid the drop into Division Two.
