DID you know that each week your Cornish Times has details of all forthcoming road closures and roadworks projects affecting main roads and minor lanes in South East Cornwall?
The Public Notices include Road Traffic Orders issued by Cornwall Council and these tell you when the order comes into place, how long it will last for, and why it’s necessary.
To take an example from this week’s notices, a road at No Man’s Land near Widegates will be closed for around three weeks while work to construct a footpath is carried out.
The side road from the B3253 at St Euny which connects with the B3253 a little further south at Holland Farm will be closed 24 hours for all but emergency vehicles and residential access from February 22. A traffic order will then be in place with the work set to be complete by March 12.
For information relating to all the forthcoming road closures in South East Cornwall see the Public Notices in this week’s Cornish Times.
