The parking situation on a Callington street got so desperate its residents rallied together and created their own car park. Fifteen families, mostly from Moonsfield, decided to seek permission from a businessman to lease a piece of wasteland he owns at the bottom of Tavistock Road.

Resident Diane Thomson decided to bring the residents together after it became increasingly difficult to find somewhere to park their vehicles.
