Repairs to the walkway at the Millpool in West Looe are likely to take place after Easter, says Cornwall Councillor Edwina Hannaford.

‘This will not be a cosmetic solution; rather than just being patched as previously, the path will be fully rebuilt,’ said Cllr Hannaford.

‘The work is expected to take around 10 weeks and will hopefully be completed before the start of the main tourism season.

‘It’s not going to be an easy job as there is water both sides and tidal working will be required. This walkway is a favourite with locals and visitors and I’m delighted this investment is being made after years of neglect and piecemeal repairs.’
