The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) is once again encouraging people to join in the Trelawny Shout at pubs across the county on St Piran’s Day, March 5.
Into its third year, the event celebrates the saint’s day with pub regulars joining musicians at 9pm to sing The Song of the Western Men, more popularly known as Trelawny.
The idea of the CCF, the event is supported by St Austell Brewery and raises funds for charity.
So far 90 pubs across the county have signed up for the Trelawny Shout.
Pubs taking part include the Jubilee Inn, Pelynt, the Par Inn, the Ploughboy, Saltash, the Who’d Have Thought It, St Dominick, the Safe Harbour and the Ship Inn, Fowey, and the Rashleigh Arms, Charlestown.
