More than 30 people zipped into Parkinson’s Awareness Week earlier in April at Adrenalin Quarry, near Liskeard, to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s.

Participants came from all over the country to take part in the ’UK’s maddest zip wire’, which is 490m long, 50m high and reaching speeds of 40mph.

Parkinson’s UK hopes to raise £5,000 from the day.
