These mud-splattered competitors, all staff at Luxstowe Veterinary Centre in Liskeard, took part in the annual Race for Life Pretty Muddy Run in Plymouth’s Central Park in aid of Cancer Research.

They tackled mud-strewn obstacle courses and a drenching from cold water to complete the five-kilometre run.

The effort from the vets, nurses and receptionists at the centre raised a total of £1,227.76 through donations from their families and colleagues and clients visiting all three surgeries at Looe, Torpoint and Liskeard.
