HOMES in the villages north of Liskeard which have been without power this morning should all be reconnected by 8.30am, says Western Power Distribution.

A power cut was first reported by the company just before 7am and affecting almost 1,000 homes in the Darite and Tremar area to begin with, but engineers have been working to restore the supply.
