200 Club A stay second this week after winning by 7-2 at home to Mosquito Sailing Club. A Town, S Roche, K Davies, M Bowden and M Morris were all singles winners for the 200 A with Mike Miller replying. 200 club A then took two of the three doubles to complete a good win.

Mark of Friendship move up to third, after another good 7-2 win at home to the 200 Club B. A Triggs, A Kidd, D Dillon, J West and A Walker all won their singles for Mark, with Mark Lee the only winner for the 200 B. Mark also took the first two doubles to win 7-2.

Wilcove Warriors stay top after winning on the deciding doubles match against the much improved Millbrook Football Club. K Tullett, A Arnold and R Bunston won for the Warriors with M White, R Ryder and G Davies replying. Then Millbrook led 4-3 after the first doubles only to lose the last two and the match by 5-4.

King Pins came unstuck against the Carbeile C losing 5-4. Carbeile C went 4-2 ahead in the singles through R Stones, B Foster, S Foster and T Carey with K Harris and A Miller replying. King Pins then levelled at 4-4 with the first two doubles only to lose on the deciding doubles by 5-4.

Wilcove Hotshots returned to winning ways after trailing 2-0 at the Carbeile B. Hotshots led 4-2 after the singles with wins from L Fearnley, J Sampson, G Bettinson and T Walsh with L Carroll and P Byrne winning for the Carbeile B. Hotshots winning two of the three doubles and the match by 6-3.

Wheelers B made it three wins on the trot with this their best to date with a 5-4 home win over the Kings A, G Nichols, I Brown, A Waters and D Brown all singles winners for the Wheelers B with S Woodman and C Andrews replying for the Kings A. Wheelers B took the middle doubles and the match by 5-4 to move up to seventh in the league table.
