Liskeard business owner and resident Ian Goldsworthy has been selected by South East Cornwall Liberal Democrats as the Cornwall Council candidate for Liskeard North. 

Mr Goldsworthy  said: ’I’ve taken the decision to join the Liberal Democrats because I’ve seen how hard people like Mike George and Phil Hutty work for the local area. I’m honoured to have been accepted by local Liberal Democrats as a candidate for next May’s elections.  

’Having lived and worked in Liskeard all my life, I want our town to have a stronger voice at County Hall, and look forward to using my experience and knowledge to help shape the town’s future.’
