A team of charity cyclists from Devon and Cornwall Police pedalled past their fund-raising target in style.

Almost seventy riders from Devon and Cornwall Police cycled from Exeter to Lands End to raise money for the charity Little Bleeders.  The journey in May involved more than 130 miles of road, with 10,000 feet of climbing.

Organiser Sergeant Owen Messenger said: ’We aimed to raise over £5,000 and exceeded this massively with a grand total of £8,838.02 which was incredible”.

Little Bleeders is a charity set up in 2015 by professional cyclist and Commonwealth and British Time Trial Champion Alex Dowsett, following being diagnosed with haemophilia. The charity supports young people suffering from the condition.
