House-to-house inquiries have been carried out by police in the Barn Street area of Liskeard after two alleged attacks on women. Officers investigating a sexual assault in Liskeard on Friday are trying to trace another woman who they believe was 'grabbed' by a man in the town on the same day. A police spokesman said that at around 2.45pm a woman motorist reported seeing a man arguing with a woman at a turning outside a row of terraces furthest from Rapsons. The man was seen grabbing the woman's arm before she pulled free and ran off towards the town. Officers are keen to trace her and are urging her to come forward and assist police in relation to a separate incident as a result of which a man was arrested and charged with a sexual assault near Barn Street.
