Residents of the Tamar Valley are being encouraged to give their views on a plan for the future.

The Calstock Neighbourhood Development Plan is out for public consultation and there will be drop-in sessions over the coming weeks for people to give their views.

New housing, green spaces, habitats and heritage are the focus of the draft plan, which, if adopted, will guide planning decisions between now and the year 2030.

Calstock Parish Council covers the villages of Calstock, Gunnislake, St Ann’s Chapel, Drakewalls, Albaston, Latchley and Chilsworthy. Much of the parish lies within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A spokesperson for Calstock Parish Council said: ‘We have been really pleased with the attendance for our drop in sessions so far and people who have visited have been very engaged and asking lots of questions.’
