People can have their say from today on plans for housing and commercial development in key areas of Cornwall including Par and Saltash.

A six week public consultation is asking for views on Cornwall Council’s ’Sire Allocations Development Plan Document’.

This looks at the proposed location for housing and commercial development, up to 2030, in and around 10 locations and 2 ’eco-community’ sites. It also examines how infrastructure can be improved so proposed growth can be supported and managed.

The areas covered include Saltash and an ’eco-community’ site at Par Docks, plus the Bodmin and Launceston areas.

This consultation is asking for the views of local residents to help shape the final strategy.

Details can be viewed online through cornwall.gov.uk

The document and questionnaires will also be available at: St Austell One-Stop-Shop (39 Penwinnick Road), Bodmin One-Stop-Shop (Lower Bore Street), Launceston Library and One-Stop-Shop (Bounsalls Lane), and Saltash Library and One-Stop-Shop (Callington Road).
