The parish council in Dobwalls is holding an extraordinary meeting to discuss two applications for new housing in the village.

Pearce Havett hopes to build 30 homes at Beneathway, while Wainhomes wishes to construct 48 houses off the Duloe Road - the second phase of a scheme already under construction.

The extraordinary meeting of Dobwalls and Trewidland Parish Council will take place in the Dobwalls United Church Chapel from 6.30pm tomorrow (March 29).

Representatives of Pearce Havett and Wainhomes have been invited to make presentations at the meeting.

Members of the public wishing to speak at the meeting must register their intention in advance and book a slot with parish clerk Linda Coles ([email protected] ) beforehand; there will be a total of 15 minutes allocated for residents or their representatives to speak regarding each of the applications.
