Local people are needed with the skills and expertise to help steer Looe into the future.

Neighbourhood Plan surveys were distributed earlier this year and, with the emergence of four key themes that residents would like to see included in the final plan, four working groups have been set up.

Interim steering group chairman Edwina Hannaford said: ‘The four working groups are: economy (developing future jobs, including the harbour and Polean areas); future housing needs, including a local design guide; shopping and access to services; and culture, heritage and tourism.

’We hope that local people can spare a bit of time to help develop the neighbourhood plan’s policies.

’The time commitment for the working groups is about once a fortnight through September and October.’
