SUPERSTORE Aldi is planning to upgrade the inside of its store in Liskeard - and the first step will be to extend an external area used for equipment.
The small extension, which has been granted planning permission, is necessary to enable an internal refurbishment of the store, says the company.
Aldi says it intends to ‘refurbish and update the store to improve the environment for customers’.
Aldi’s agent Planning Potential said: ‘The proposed plant equipment will comprise an extension of the existing pant to the rear of the store.
‘This application proposes the introduction of an enhanced retail facility within the established location.’
