Liskeard’s ‘pink pub’ will be the venue as fundraisers come together to support Breast Cancer Care.

Women are being encouraged to ‘wear it pink’ at the Albion on Thursday and men are invited too, say Lucia Bowler and Bernie Cole, who are organising the event.

There’ll be bingo, karaoke, pink cocktails and games throughout the afternoon and evening, with a buffet lunch and soup and a roll provided by the Real Junk Food Project.

The event will start at 12 noon and is being hosted by Alex and Wendy McKay.

‘Children are welcome until 9pm – so why not come for tea after school and save cooking that night,’ said Lucia.

‘There will also be a raffle with prizes. We are hoping for lots of ladies to be wearing it as pink as they dare.’
