A new TV drama is giving further exposure to Cornwall’s tourism industry, continuing the Poldark effect.
But BBC1’s Taboo, starring Hollywood A-lister Tom Hardy in an eight-part series overseen by top director Ridley Scott, has a much darker plotline than Poldark.
Tom Hardy filmed scenes for Taboo in Cornwall on the deck of one of the historic sailing ships at Charlestown.
