Airline Ryanair yesterday launched its Cornish summer 2017 schedule, with a new route to Faro and two other routes to Alicante and Frankfurt Hahn which will deliver 57,000 customers a year at Cornwall Airport Newquay.
Ryanair’s head of communications, Robin Kiely said: ’As our recent guidance confirmed, Ryanair expects average fares to fall by between 10% to 12% in the 6 months to March 2017.’
Cornwall Airport Newquay’s Managing Director, Al Titterington said: ’Our positive relationship with Ryanair is blossoming and their commitment to grow services from the region after only one year of operation is particularly pleasing. The new connection direct to the Algarve should prove very popular with families, golfers and surfers and offers a great new option for those wishing to start their holiday from their local airport.’
