In a game of three 10 minute periods Ivybridge proved tough opposition but the final score was not a true reflection of the game.
Fielding 12 men Liskeard had the luxury of using subs for the first time this season. Rosy Reed, John Burns, Stuart Gundry and new boy Paul Allen showed good ball skills.
Jan Spierings - playing his first game - along with Chris Bowden and Oliver Nance won some good scrums. Daniel Watt and Liam Moran tried hard but came up against a tight defence. Sam Meluish and Jake Francis gave good support play.
Josh Bryant played his best game yet and took up the challenge, managing to make up ground on several occasions. Adam Whittington broke through on a few occasions and after side stepping his way past the Ivybridge defence he scored Liskeard's only try. On Sunday Liskeard visit Truro.
