A mixture of Mensa and magic is on offer this Friday, April 1, at 7pm in the Portbyhan Hotel Hotel in aid of the West Looe May Fayre.

Teams of up to six are invited to test their grey cells at a quiz night with table magic.

Organiser Edwina Hannaford said: ’We wanted to raise some funds for this year’s West Looe May Fayre which is on May 7 with a quiz night with a twist. The night includes picture quizzes, general knowledge, true or false and a music quiz.

’We are grateful to Portbyhan Hotel for the use of the venue and Chris ’CoolMagic’ Edwards for demonstrating his magic trickery and sleight of hand.’
