Members of a gang of girls 'bullying' residents in Liskeard have been dealt with, according to police.

The ringleaders of the group, who have since left their schools, have been issued with Acceptable Behaviour Contracts.

The three girls have to abide by a number of conditions in the contracts for at least the next six months or face an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO).

Four members of the gang have been charged with criminal offences including assault, theft and criminal damage.

Nine other girls, some of who still attend schools in the area, have received anti-social behaviour warning letters and a home visit from the police.
