MARKET B still head the Section A table by two points after the top four teams all won in the latest round of matches in the Liskeard and District Euchre League.

The leaders were level, 6-6, with White Horse but then won all six in the final two rounds for a 12-6 success, taking the Runabout Trophy in the process.

Sonia Kelly and Rob Trevarthen, Dave Trevarthen and Nigel Sawyer, Graham Pengelly and Mark Borlase all managed four each for Market B, while Phil Golley and Brian Staddon, Dave Hugh and Darren Hoare, Mike Hoskin and Geoff Williams all claimed two apiece for the White Horse.

Con Lions were 6-3 up at home to Cornish Ivy but struggled to get over the finishing line, 10-8.

Alan Colwill and Rob Cowling jnr, Bernie Hoskin and Rob Cowling snr all took four and Roger Higman and Alan Wyatt two for the Lions, while Nigel Walker and Nick Sharp had four and Chris Prinn and Darren Hooper three for the Ivy.
