A MAN suffered serious injuries after he fell from a bridge onto a busy dual-carriageway. The 33 year old jumped 40ft from a bridge at Station Road, Liskeard, onto the A38 just before 11pm on Sunday, said police. He suffered numerous broken bones and a serious head injury. The casualty was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth but police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
