A?MAN has died after an incident at a business park in Torpoint.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called at 11.25am on Tuesday following reports that a man had become trapped under a forklift truck at a business premises in Trevol Road.

The man, who was the driver of the forklift truck, was treated at the scene by paramedics from the ambulance and air ambulance.

The man, from Plymouth and in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time after.

His next of kin have been informed.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Unit, CID and the Health and Safety Executive attended and are carrying out a joint investigation.
