Looe RNLI fundraisers are marrying two much-loved radio shows to prove they really do have a clue when it comes to supporting the lifeboats.
‘Just a Minute’ meets ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue’ in the event organised by Looe Boat Owners Association at St Martins Church Hall, Looe at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 22
Described as an antidote to all panel games, it’s a unique blend of the two popular BBC Radio 4 shows. Four local panellists will, for your entertainment, test their wits and verbal skills on rounds such as Looe’s version of Mornington Crescent; Just a Minute; Complete the proverb; Better endings to traditional nursery rhymes and New additions to the Uxbridge English Dictionary
Tickets are on sale now and cost £10 which includes a full supper. There will also be a licensed bar and a raffle with prizes donated by local shops and individuals.
Tickets from Alf Oliver on 01503 265162 or Chris Roy on 01503 262704, or email [email protected].
