TRANSPLANT patient Terry Wright, from Looe, is competing in the 2018 British Transplant Games.

The games, for people who have been given a transplant, are taking place in Birmingham.

Pensioner Terry will be competing in table tennis, a 5k walk and track events.

Open to all transplant patients, the games seek to celebrate the life-changing effects of transplantation, encourage patients to regain fitness and increase public awareness of the need to sign the NHS Organ Donor Register and discuss their wishes now with their families.
