FUNDRAISING by Liskeard’s Relay for Life teams has continued despite the restrictions of the pandemic.
More than £730 was raised through a virtual Stride event in November, where 18 participants and their friends did one or more 5km walks.
“Committee members are delighted as this exceeded their target of £500,” said Joy Parker.
“Fundraising has continued during December with various other events, and it is not too late to get involved with the Virtual Christmas Pet Show.”
This fun event is open to everyone and is for pets of any kind, with various categories. Anyone who’d like to be involved should submit photos by January 5.
Voting will then take place online until January 13.
