LISKEARD Town Forum will be meeting on Wednesday evening (March 9) to discuss people’s ideas about areas of general concern such as road safety and ideas for the town’s future post-COVID.
A post on the forum’s Facebook page states: "For obvious reasons, I’ve been a bit cautious on promoting the next Liskeard Town Forum meeting.
"I’m now 100% happy, to say we are going ahead next week, Wednesday, March 9, at 7.30pm in the Liskeard Town Council Public Hall building.
"The agenda will be focused around the regeneration of Liskeard and Road Safety across the town.
"Road Safety around Liskeard is a topic which residents have raised with Liskeard Town Forum and we are keen to hear views on what you would like to be seen done.
"Secondly, with the impact of COVID, the regeneration of Liskeard is something close to all of our hearts. So, we want to hear your ideas on how the town can grow and go forward.
"The Liskeard Town Forum is open to everyone, all residents, businesses and groups - the meetings are informal, and a chance for everyone to have their say on the future of Liskeard.
"We look forward to seeing you there, next Wednesday, 7.30pm in Liskeard Town Council Public Hall."
