THE Liskeard Agricultural Show will not be taking place this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The show, held at Merrymeet, was due to take place on Saturday, July 11, but the Liskeard and District Agricultural Association have said that, with great sadness, they have made the decision to cancel this year’s event.
A spokesman said: ‘The committee feel that with the uncertainty over the lock down, social distancing and mass gathering rules, this is the only outcome.
'We look forward to welcoming you back again next year when the show will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021.’
