Liskeard Scout Group is calling on painters, builders and handymen to help them repair and refresh their scout hut in Castle Park. An event will be held next Saturday, May 21, from 10am to 3pm, and pasties will be available for those who help. Group scout leader Lisa Ince said: ‘Our group is growing weekly from strength to strength, with another cub pack running on a Wednesday night. ‘I’m asking if anyone is available to help our group to improve the condition of our hut. ‘We have had donations of paint from Jewsons and down pipes from Plumbase Liskeard. ‘If you have time to spare or if your business has some equipment or supplies to donate, please contact me on 07866 741590.’
