LISKEARD emerged victorious at the South West England regional finals of the Tesco under-14 Girls' Cup in Bristol.

The girls, who came out on top in the round robin competition, will now represent the region at the National finals, to be held at Pride Park, home to Derby County, on Sunday.

Liskeard won four of their six matches in the 'round robin' format, conceding just twice and beating runners-up Poole Town in the process.
