A FUND set up in memory of Lily McCormick, 10, from Liskeard, who died after an accident on a farm has raised more than £7,500.

Lily, who went to St Neot Primary School and was nicknamed Lily Bug, was a passenger in a Gator off-road utility vehicle which overturned.

A fundraising campaign is running to support Lily’s family. The page can be found at www.gofundme.com/lily-bug-fund

A friend of the family told the Cornish Times: ‘The Lily Bug Fund has had an amazing response. There have been several fundraising efforts from many around the town of Liskeard with these funds yet to be included.

‘Lily Bug disco bead bracelets will be available to purchase from Hands & Tans, Red Hairdressing, and Mark Tucker, of Combat Athletics Academy, all in Liskeard, and the London Inn, St Neot.’

The bracelets go on sale today.
