Looe's tradition of a spectacular display of Christmas lights could be under threat, unless fresh volunteers come forward to help maintain and erect them. The team behind the display is urging residents and businesses to put in a special effort to help make the town sparkle this year, by ensuring that lights are put up on houses, buildings, sheds and even trees! 'Volunteers will once again be putting up the town's street festoons and vessel lights, but they urgently need additional volunteers to assist on the relevant days,' said Dave Holford, one of the team behind the illuminations. 'The existing volunteers are all becoming older and younger folk are needed to assist.' Anyone prepared to give their time to the project is asked to contact 07745 830028.
