I went into the Sungirt Valley Nature Reserve in Liskeard the other afternoon to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the town centre. It was peaceful with blackbird song and also chaffinch, robin, great tit and blue tits. But oh what a state in the corner where the seats and litter bin is situated -beer bottles, empty beer cans and paper strewn everywhere. Even more disturbing was evidence that cannabis had been used and signs that someone had taken crack cocaine. I'm sorry but unless something is done about this I will not be visiting Sungirt Valley again and I take great pleasure in watching the wildlife wherever I go.
