As part of the Loop the Loop Branching Out Project, one of the learning officers from the Cornish history centre Kresen Kernow will be leading a free walk, looking at how the Looe Valley branch-line came into existence, on Monday, April 11 at 11.30am.

The walk will be meeting outside the Post Office at Minions (PL14 5LE) and will explore the mineral lines which radiate out across Bodmin Moor and the mines and quarries which brought about the construction of the railway line which eventually ran to Looe.

There’s no need to book, just ensure you are dressed for a moorland walk and bring a snack.
