A CORNISH violinist and her pianist partner will be livestreaming their latest concert this evening from their flat out to the wider world.
Anna Brigham, orginally of St Cleer, and her partner Brendan Musk together make up the Lantivet Duo.
Their performance tonight will include an eclectic mix of styles from Argentina, America and Europe, as well as new music from three London based composers - Callum Au, Libby Croad and Peter Longworth. Two of these pieces will be world premieres at the lockdown concert, which starts at 7pm.
The duo’s last concert raised £1000 for the NHS, and 50% of the proceeds from this evening’s event will be donated to the fight against Covid-19.
’The loss of shared musical experiences is one of the many difficult things about lockdown,’ sais Anna.
’We would like to offer people the chance to connect by tuning in live to this unique concert.
’It will also be made available to view online for two weeks following the live broadcast.’
The concert can be watched here: http://tiny.cc/lantivet-1st-may-2020
’There will be the opportunity for viewers to make a donation if they enjoyed it and can afford it,’ said Anna.
’We will be passing on 50% to the NHS Charities COVID-19 Appeal.’
