The latest Cornish Times editions have two Recipes of the Week, both from the chef, TV presenter, author and 2012 Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite.
The recipes are for Macaroni Cheese Frittata (Spanish omelette) and for Toffee Apple and Salted Pretzel Rocky Road and they both come from John’s new book of speedy stovetop recipes entitled A Flash In The Pan.
He says that the frittata, with its burnished underside, is basically a giant crispy corner, while the rocky road is a ‘triple treat’ of crispiness, chewiness and fruitiness.
