Liskeard will look back on this tussle with disappointment. Playing well and looking good value for a 2-1 lead they were pipped in the closing quarter when a brace of home goals - the third in the last five minutes gave Porthleven victory.
Liskeard got off to a flyer with a goal from Andy Bowker in the first minute. A poor clearance from Darren Holsey gave him the opportunity to fire low past Gary Penhaligon.
Graeme MacMillan was then within a whisker of getting a second with a shot across Penhaligon which flew just wide of the far post.
It was a piece of quick thinking by Ian Rowe that saw his free kick find Legg, who saw his shot well blocked by Mark Henwood only for Rowe to follow up and force home the equaliser.
Liskeard regained the lead almost immediately as Bowker raced onto a through ball and calmly steered it past Penhaligon.
But the visitors paid dearly for not picking up Legg and he headed in Porth's second equaliser. The Blues contributed to their own downfall five minutes from time as Leer Beer's slack clearance only found Legg who raced on to beat a defender before slipping the ball past Henwood.
