A community project is looking for singers, instrumentalists and visual artists who like the idea of working with horses as their inspiration.
Heaven’s Thunder is planning a new and unusual show for May 2020 and will be holding workshops from September to December 2019.
They consist of watching horses in the morning and making music in the afternoon. This community company has already created some new, original music for participants to learn. The pieces made will be performed alongside the horses in the final show.
Visual art workshops in mixed media and sculpture will be led by Meier Williams. An exhibition will accompany the performance, which will then travel around Cornwall to showcase participants’ work.
Workshops are open to everyone over 14. The next Music and Horses Workshop will be at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, Callington on Sunday, September 8 from 10 till 4.
