Despite the journey way down west for this Trelawney Three fixture, Liskeard showed good form from the off. The umpiring was refreshingly tight with Cornish umpiring supremo, Chris Jackson, taking control early on having harsh words with two unruly Falmouth players.

The Liskeard midfield created many attacking opportunities to be finished off by the newly re-arranged forwards.

The visiting defence had little to do, but remained on-guard to sweep away the few attacks that got through.

Falmouth gave Liskeard the time and space to practice text book play, resulting in goals from Lou McCartney (2), Angela Delbridge (2), E-J Smith (2), and Angela Burgess.

Tomorrow (Sat) Liskeard are away to Plym Valley. Training Thursday 8 pm at the Liskeard astro pitch. All welcome.
