This October, national disability charity, Sense, will be hosting a free information day in Cornwall to enable young people with sight and hearing loss and their families to put plans in place to help shape their futures.
The event aims to help those aged 14 to 25 move into adulthood.
The ‘Shape Your Future’ event, open to the entire family, will include a series of activities to help young people discuss future plans, explore opportunities and make choices about their adult support needs.
Themed activities on offer include drumming, drama, cookery, arts and crafts run by experienced staff and volunteers.
Taking place on October 8 from 11am to 3pm at the Gwealan Tops Centre in Redruth, Sense’s ‘Shape Your Future’ will be free to attend and will include free lunch for all participants.
