This Friday (April 1), Colonel Edward Bolitho OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, will open a new building for Cornwall Air Ambulance at the charity’s Newquay base. The build was possible due to a grant of £241,000 of Libor bank fines from HM Treasury.

The Lady Mary Holborow Fundraising and Volunteering Building will house volunteers and fundraising staff. There will also be a new aircrew clinical governance room which is a space for doctors to train paramedics in their masters degrees in pre-hospital critical care/ retrieval and transfer.
