How are those Movember moustaches coming along?
To help support the Movember campaign – in which men all over Britain sprout top-lip extravaganzas during the month formerly known as November to raise money for charities that work for men’s health - the Cornish Times is running a competition to find the best creation grown during the campaign month.
To enter you just need to provide photographs of yourself before and after so the pictures can be featured in the Cornish Times – and the winner, whose name will be drawn on Friday, December 2, will receive £100 for the charity of their choice supported by the Movember Foundation and listed on its website, plus a T-shirt from the foundation.
Businesses can join in the Movember fun too.
The business team showing the best moustaches will win the newly launched Cornish Times Movember Charity Cup.
This cup will be presented to the winning team and a picture of the business receiving it will be published in the paper, helping to bring lots of free publicity for that company and its efforts to help a very good cause.
Send in group photographs of staff members before and after they have grown moustaches for Movember.
To enter, send your photographs in an envelope along with your name, address and telephone number to: Movember Competition, Cornish Times, The Tindle Suite, Webb’s House, The Parade, Liskeard, Cornwall PL14 6AH.
Alternatively, email your photographs, name, address and telephone number, marking your email ‘Movember Competition’ in the subject line, to [email protected]
Entries must be received before 9am on Wednesday, November 30. The winners will be judged by a panel of Cornish Times staff members. (Our normal competition rules will apply and the editor’s decision is final).
