The communication disability network Connect is organising a drop-in cafe on the first Tuesday of every month for anyone who has experienced a stroke.

The meetings take place at Cafe Connect, at Greenbank Community Church, from 10.30ammidday, and enable those who have had a stroke to meet others in a relaxed setting for a chat over coffee and tea.

Group leader Jen Ovens says: ‘These get-togethers are free and we would like more people to come along.’
