A care home in Higher Tremar has been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, a year after the inspection body asked it to make improvements.

Manor House Care Home, which provides care for people with dementia or mental health needs, was judged to be good in all five of the areas of practice observed by inspectors.

The service is safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led, said the CQC.
