People can now access GP services anytime, anywhere, thanks to a simple online form that is being tested out in 19 practices across Cornwall including practices in the Cornish Times area.

The online service (known as eConsult) enables people to check their symptoms and receive on the spot medical advice at any time of day or night.

They can also request an appointment, a test result or some health advice from their practice. The practice will review requests every working day and most practices are offering a response by the end of the next working day following submission.
